Day two of our cruise, we woke up bright and early, with a light room service breakfast. We had to be in line to head out of the ship by 8:15

Our view as we left the ship |
Thomas and I hasn't really wanted to leave that early, but we had two goals for the day - taking the Glass Bottom Boat tour, and going Kayaking. To be able to do both, we had to go to the 9am kayaking.
The island was practically empty when we got on it. |
Thomas demonstrated how to put on a life jacket, and we were off!!
It was a wonderful experience. Our guide was awesome and told us about the history of the area (Pirates!) and the island itself. He also told us that the water was the calmest he had seen it in about a month. I couldn't get over how beautiful the water was. Clear, blue and sparkling.

Just look at that gorgous water! |
My cute and dorky husband |
After this we found a bunch of hammocks, and I lay down while Thomas went in seach of a bathroom, and water. It took him a while (He decided to go exploring) and I was in heaven in the hammock, listening to the birds, and enjoying the weather and sun. When Thomas came back, he joined me for a few minutes, but he gets bored much more easily than I do.
When Thomas came back, I said "look, there are REAL coconuts on that tree!" for some reason, he thought this was a funny thing. |
Next up was a small nature walk, We saw a lot of animlas on the island - lizards, chickens, roosters, and we heard peacocks. Apparently they also have cats, but we never saw one.

Sipping on my strawberry daquri. |
Thomas had fun playing with the underwater camera. (Thanks for the loan Dad!) |
After a BBQ lunch, we went on our Glass Bottom boat tour! It was pretty fun - the tour is run by a family, today it was a father and son team. The Dad did the driving and talking, while the son dove for things we saw through the glass, and brought them up for us to see.
That's red snapper down there. Yummy! |
Diving for starfish |
This was a pretty big guy! |
The Sea cucumber wasn't too happy to be taken out of the ocean. He kept peeing on everyone who held him. |
Dropping the starfish back in the ocean. |
We did NOT try to touch this guy, but it was fun to watch the sting ray swimming around. |
This was a King Conch |
This is my "He's pretty cool" face. |
When we were almost done, the captian pulled out this big, ugly looking conch, then proceeded to shell it, rinsed it off in the ocean, then he offered pieces of it to everyone. I was wary at first, but Thomas LOVED it. I thought it tasted like half-cooked chicken.
Taking a bite... |
Hey, its pretty good! |
The captian was so pleased that Thomas like it, he gave him two more pieces!

View of our ship from the glass bottom boat |
We were super tired when we got off the tour, and got on a boat back to the ship, where we took a nap, then got ready for formal night. We only took a few pictures of me - I threw this dress in my suitcase at the very last minute, and ended up being very glad I did so!

This is my sophisticated look |
This is what you get when my husband says something funny. :P |
After a yummy dinner, we went to the 70s and 80s dance party. Thomas didn;t want to dance, but we had a fun time singing along, and watching everyone make a fool out of themselves. We found this little guy when we got back to our room:
