An Ordinary Night

As Thomas and I were eating dinner tonight, we were listening to a CD that Mom had made for me, of Disney songs made into classical numbers. A song came on that perplexed us - it was SO familiar, but we had no idea what movie it was from. There was a decidedly western tinge to it, and I decided that perhaps Mom had just added a general, Aaron Copland sounding composition to the mix.

Right as we were getting up to clear the dishes, six notes made us both perk up and say at the same time "It's Davy Crockett!"

How's that for Disney musical nerds?
