Wren's 2017 year in review!

Wren isn't old enough to answer these herself, but I thought it'd be fun if I did!

How old are you?

13 Months

What is your favourite color?
Wren is ALWAYS pointing out red things to me. Sometimes blue, but if she sees red, that little finger points until I let her know I can see it.

What is your favourite animal?

Wren loves her "Kee-kat!"s but her cousins brought their two dogs over Christmas, and she loved cuddling and petting them.

What is your favourite book?

Wren loves almost all her books. She will go and pick one out, then plop herself down in my lap, so I can read to her. Touch-and-feel are her favourites.

What is your favourite TV show?

Still too young for a favourite one, but she likes the music on Vampirina, Doc McStuffins and Elena of Avalor. Can you tell she has a 4 year old big sister?

What is your favourite movie?
The music from Trolls, Sing and Moana are her favourites.

What is your favourite song?

I don't know if Wren has a favourite song, but the little girl LOVES her music. She'll wave her arm around, and motion towards our Amazon Echo when she wants music. Or my phone, which she knows can also produce the stuff for her listening pleasure. 

What is your favourite drink?

Mama milkies :)

What is your favourite snack?

Wren likes these little baby fruit snacks that Thomas gets for her, and also cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.

What is your favourite dessert?

Ummm, anything! She's a big fan of ice cream.

What is your favourite outfit?
I'm not sure if she has a favourite, but Wren likes putting clothes and shoes on and taking them off! If she ever sees a stray sock - hers, Meggy's mine, or Thomas', she HAS to have it put on. Then she'll crawl along until it falls off or she gets annoyed and pulls it off. Then the whole thing happens again. Same with hair bows - she loves to wear them, but also likes to pull them off.

What is your favourite game?
Right now it's pat-a-cake, along with peek-a-boo.

What is your favourite toy?

We have this walker with an activity center that she LOVES. Wren walks around with that thing, swerving this way and that, cornering me in the kitchen, and trying to chase the cats. It's adorable to watch.

What is your favourite thing to do?

Wren loves being with all her family. She also loves listening and dancing to music. I think her favourite part of the day must be right before bedtime, when I turn on a song while Thomas helps the kiddos into their pjs, and we all dance and have fun together. Then it's bedtime, and she hates that.

Big sister, Meggy <3

What is your favourite thing to do outside?

Well, so far she can't do a whole lot, but Wren does love to be outside! We took family pictures on a windy, rainy day and she had a blast the entire time!!

What is your favourite Holiday?
Christmas morning, Wren was in her element. Grabbing paper, throwing around presents... she had a blast.

What do you like to take with you to bed at night?

Nothing, right now.

Where is your favourite place to go?

Wren does not like being in her car seat. She doesn't really enjoy going places, but she puts up with it for our sakes.

What is your favourite restaurant? 
NA

Where do you like to go on vacation?

Wren did not appreciate the sand at the beach when we went last year. That being said, she did like to waves, just not the sand. We'll have to work on that.

What did you do on your birthday?

We celebrated Wren's birthday in a very low-key way this year, just us and family with some frosting covered pumpkin bread. It was perfect.
